Lancome Le Teint Particulier custom made foundation

Times are a changing! It's all about custom and Lancome has pulled out all the stops with this new foundation! It's called Le Teint Particulier. It retails for $80 and is only available at Nordstrom downtown Seattle and Nordstrom Del Amo.

How it works is they scan your face and three places. You get to choose where they scan so you want to pick where you like the pigmentation in your skin the best. I chose my jawline, my neck and my forehead. They then ask you your skin type and what coverage you like, sheer, medium or full coverage. All this information is plugged into a computer and then this little machine starts mixing your makeup right in front of you!
Once it's done being dispensed it goes into a shaker for a few minutes and voila it's done!

They then put it into your custom bottle with your name.
I chose medium coverage for dry skin. The foundation blends into the skin really easy and I find myself using my fingers to blend it in most of the time. It feels really nice on the skin and almost has a cooling effect. The medium coverage is buildable but one pump covers my fave very well. It takes about 10 minutes to set on the face and then it lasts all day! No need to set unless you're extremely oily. I wore it from 7am to about 10 at night and it didn't break down or fade.
Here is  a close up of the foundation on my skin. Overall I am super impressed with this technology. If you can't find your shade, if you like luxury, if you like custom you will LOVE this! Definitely check it out!
