microneedle nurse system first impression review (UPDATE at bottom)

I was sent the microneedle system from blissmindbody to try out. I had heard of it before but never used one.

The microneedle is suppose to: reduce and soften acne or surgical scars, diminish the appearance of cellulite, stretch marks and large pores, smooth uneven skin texture or uneven skin coloration and heavy pitted skin, can stimulate hair to keep its thickness when used on head and helps with thinning and balding hair areas.

It works by penetrating the skin just enough to stimulate collagen and elastin production resulting in thicker healthier skin and a smoother appearance to areas with wrinkles, scars or blemishes.

up close view of my scars!
So... tonight I gave it a try!  My main concern on my face is some scars from the chickenpox I have had forever! You are suppose to roll it over you skin with light pressure 4-5 times in the same direction, vertically and horizontally.  It's a little uncomfortable but it doesn't hurt, just kinda stings a little. My face was a little pink after and stung a little but that went away fairly quick. I will be using the microneedle 1-2 times a week and I will update my results as I go.

If you are interested in ordering  a microneedle roller check out www.blissmindbody.com they sell them for $55 and offer free shipping in the U.S.

Have used one of these? If you have let me know how it worked for you!

So I have used this twice now. I haven't noticed any reduction in the scars on my forehead yet but the texture of my skin is so much better! I will continue to use this twice a week and report back.

I have used the roller in all 4 times. The biggest difference I notice is in the texture of my skin. My pores appear smaller and I notice less fine lines. Although I still have my chickenpox scars I do believe this roller does work and just maybe if I was better about doing it more often my scars would be less noticable!
