Does baby powder really work like dry shampoo???

Hey everyone! 

Dry shampoo seems to be all the rage right now.  It can be kinda expensive in my opinion. The reason I like it is to build volume in my roots not so much to absorb oil. Well listen up! I have a cheaper alternative for you... Baby powder! You can pick some up for about $2.  Sprinkle a small amount in your hands, rub them together and then apply to your roots.  I have dark hair and have had no problem with my hair turning ashy or white.  If it does turn ashy then you  have used too much.  It really helps build volume in the root area and absorb any excess oil you may have. As long as you don't mind the smell of baby powder give it a try!
